“What Difference do our Projects make?” Using a Theory of Change to plan and assess Changes

This training provides you with a clear conceptual overview and very practical guidance on the different steps involved in setting up a M&E Plan for your project that captures CHANGE!
We will design a Theory of Change as a starting point for anticipating and assessing changes and will use these ‘areas of change’ for setting up our M&E Plan. We will reflect on good indicators and learn a wide range of participatory and interactive tools and methods to assess these.

Course structure:
The training consists of two half days of live interactive online sessions, plus individual and group work. Total time commitment over the period of the course is up to 12 hours:
- 1 hour pre-reading/pre-training survey
- 9 hours of live online sessions
- 1-2 hours of self-paced activities (intersession task)
You will work in breakout rooms using case studies.
