We conduct donor mappings and find new and innovative funding sources. Our fundraising platform TripleFunds provides daily updated resources to access new funds, donors, and know-how. We have particular expertise with fundraising from foundations of all sizes.

We assist NGOs and social businesses to design successful grant proposals and business plans. We have profound understanding of donor policies and preferences and have worked with a lot of public and private donors worldwide (e.g. EC, USAID, DFID).

We have broad experience in conducting baselines, mid-term and final evaluations in various sectors, countries and languages. We also love to focus our work on impact orientation and conduct (rigorous and qualitative) impact studies. Check out our references!

We design and deliver face-to-face and online trainings for development NGOs and social businesses in all our areas of expertise: fundraising from public and private donors, project planning and proposal development, monitoring and (impact) evaluation.

As development practitioners we aim to ‘make a difference’ in people’s lives, and impact evaluation provides us with the evidence for this. Showing our contribution to development can strengthen our relationship with donors, improve development outcomes and help to influence development policy. This 3-day course provides development practitioners with the necessary methodology and practical knowledge to meet the growing demand for evaluating the impact of development projects and programmes. Developing a theory of change and critically reflecting on how social change happens will be central elements throughout the course.

Standard Fee – EUR 900
Early Booking – EUR 770
Group Booking – EUR 700 p/p

This training course is delivered in cooperation with MzN International.

Who should apply:

This introductory course is intended for staff members of international development and aid organisations, especially programme coordinators and M&E staff that use impact evaluation in their daily work.

About the instructor:

This course will be delivered by Lisa Ringhofer. Lisa is the Co-Founder of TripleMinds and has over 15 years of experience in development cooperation and research. She holds an M.A. in Development Studies, an MBA and a PhD in Sociology/Social Ecology. Lisa has developed, implemented and evaluated development programmes and projects in several countries with a focus on Southern Africa and Latin America. She conducts her assignments in English, German, Spanish and Portuguese.

Our Values

TripleMinds is interested in thinking outside the box, finding new market-based solutions together with local communities and entrepreneurs, stakeholders and think tanks. We add a fresh touch to consulting by applying innovation as a cross-cutting theme – from finding the right funding sources and partners for your idea to project implementation and evaluation.

Our core principles…

…and working strategies

  • Impact ‘on the ground’
  • Innovation
  • Market-based approach
  • Abandon the charity-based welfare model
  • Mobilise peoples’ creative potential
  • Encourage entrepreneurial spirit

THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX
BREACH THE GAP

From our personal field experience with local communities in various countries of this world we firmly believe: our legacy and responsibility is to create impact. To TripleMinds impact means a positive and long lasting change in the individual lives we touch with our work. This is why we focus on impact orientation – throughout the project/product life cycle and beyond. We design context-specific monitoring frameworks, regularly evaluate the impact for and with the people we work and train others in specific tools and techniques.
The TripleMinds heart beats for innovation, for looking at problems from a new angle, for walking new paths. We therefore drive innovation processes from new products and technologies to improved service delivery strategies and development processes that are happening on the ground. How? We find funding sources for improving and optimising innovation designs. We foster linkages with other organisations, initiatives and stakeholders. We support the up-scaling of innovations and provide scientific guidance.
TripleMinds sees the global poor as entrepreneurs, producers, innovators and investors. We are strongly convinced that the private sector is a key driver to sustainable development in the South. Our passion is to use market-based approaches for identifying, testing and scaling up innovative ideas for social business models and markets that can address the needs of millions of underserved populations – be it in rural development, social protection or any other sector we work in.

Our Experience

TripleMinds has worked with the following public and private donors:

  • Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID)
  • Austrian Development Agency (ADA)
  • Department for International Development (DFID)
  • European Commission (EC)
  • European Commission Humanitarian Aid & Civil Protection (ECHO)
  • OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID)
  • Different UN Organisations (e.g. UNESCO, UNICEF)
  • United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
  • Medicor Foundation
  • Liechtenstein Development Service (LED)

…and many more foundations

…click on the continent for some of our reference projects

TripleMinds has worked in four continents:

  • Africa (Ethiopia, Ghana, Mozambique, Senegal, Zimbabwe)
  • Asia (Afganistan, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan)
  • Central America (El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua)
  • South America (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador)
  • Middle East (Jordan, Palestine)
  • South East Europe (Bosnia & Herzegovina, Moldova, Romania, Serbia)

TripleMinds is fluent in five languages and can carry out assignments in German, English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese.

Our Team

LUST FOR LIFE.
PASSION FOR PEOPLE.
DYNAMIC   CURIOUS   COMMITTED

Though all three of us were born in Austria we have spent the majority of our adult lives living abroad. Our common theme? We are flexible with time and space, curious for new people, cultures and places. After two years of working together back in 2006, our career paths led us into different directions: Silvia eventually moved to Zimbabwe, Lisa finished her PhD with extended field research periods in the Bolivian Amazon and Ulrike was off to work for UNICEF in Nepal and later the European Commission in Brussels. We always stayed in contact not least because in the meantime we had all become mothers and our children (6 so far!) are close in age. Though always enthusiastic with the world of development, our TripleMinds network was born in early 2013. It was simply time. And the only logical step forward as we wanted to create a consultancy that is firmly based on our own values, beliefs and approaches, and of course suitable for our lives as young mothers and passionate travellers.
