We may use Personal and Non-Personal Information to:

Collection of Information

While using our Website, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. Personally identifiable information includes your email address, name, phone number or postal address (“Personal Information”). Your name, e-mail address and postal address will be used for billing purposes of the Website. Your e-mail address will further be used to send you information on our Website.

We collect Personal Information directly when you provide it to us and non-personal, aggregated data automatically as you navigate through the Website.

TripleFunds Membership Packages

We offer paid membership access for our clients to special content and services on our Website. Once you have selected one of our membership packages, you can choose to pay either with Credit Card, PayPal or bank transfer. A third-party processor will handle the processing of the transaction.

In case you wish to pay with either Credit Card of PayPal, you will be forwarded to the checkout page where you will be asked to provide certain Personal Information, which includes your email address, first and last name, phone number, billing details, billing address, name of your organisation or business. You will further be asked to create a password.

After you have agreed to the Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions of the Website, a third-party payment processor will handle the processing of the transaction. None of your billing details (i.e. credit card information) will be stored on our server. In case you pay with Credit Card, Stripe (Stripe, Inc., 185 Berry Street, Suite 550, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States) will handle your transaction. In case you click on the PayPal button at the bottom of the checkout form, PayPal (PayPal, 2211 North First Street, San Jose, CA 95131, United States) will forward you to their own checkout page. Both companies will store your billing details and Personal Information on their servers. Both companies comply with applicable laws to provide an adequate level of data protection for the transfer of your personal data to the US. For the management of our customer database and the analysis of our customers usage of our Website, we use a third-party software called MemberMouse (MemberMouse LLC, 1201 Orange Street, Suite 600, Wilmington, Delaware, 19801, United States). MemberMouse allows us to manage your Personal Information, including your first and second name, phone number, e-mail address, billing address, as well as information on your purchasing history, pages visited by you, the date at which you visited the pages, the number of times you accessed the Website, and your IP-address. MemberMouse does not extract or store any of your Personal Information on their servers, however, for us to be able to use their analytics tool, which enables us to visualize long-term trends of our customer base, they do collect non-personal aggregate data from our customers, i.e. the total number of active users on our Platform and the number of orders occurred. If you subscribe to one of our Paid TripleFunds Membership Packages you will receive a weekly newsletter (E-Mail Alert) in which we are sending out all the entries of the last 7 days of our databases as well as updates on upcoming trainings, webinars or other activities and promotions. You can unsubscribe from this service anytime by clicking the “Unsubscribe”-link which can be found at the bottom of each Newsletter mail or by contacting us directly at [email protected]. The same set up applies as in “Newsletter” below.

Newsletter

We offer a free online Newsletter service on our Website where we send out: (1) a monthly free funding alert covering free funding opportunities and donor profiles; and (2) regular updates on our activities such as upcoming webinars or trainings. If you decide to opt-in to our Newsletter, we will ask you to provide your first and second name, and your e-mail address. We will then send you an e-mail (double opt-in feature) in order to confirm that you want to receive our Newsletter. You may unsubscribe from our Newsletter at any time in any subsequent email you receive from us by clicking the „Unsubscribe“-link which can be found at the bottom of each Newsletter mail, or by contacting us directly at [email protected].

In order to administer our Newsletter subscribers, we use a third-party software called Mailpoet (Mailpoet, 6 rue Dieudé, 13006, Marseille, France). We use Mailpoet’s service for our subscription forms to our newsletters on our Website and to administer our subscribers. Mailpoet does not collect any of your Personal Information. For the purpose of sending our newsletters, we use a third-party service called ElasticEmail (Unit 107, 1208 Wharf Street, Victoria, BC V8W 3B9 Canada). ElasticEmail stores and processes your e-mail address on its servers in France to perform the sending process. ElasticEmail further allows us to access information on the date of delivery of the e-mails we send to you, whether you have opened our e-mail or not, or clicked on a specific link within the e-mail by using so called „web beacons“. We have set up a Data Processing Agreement with ElasticEmail which is a contract in which ElasticEmail is obliged to protect your data, process the data according to their data protection policies for us and not sell your data to any other third-parties. Webinars

We also offer Webinars for our customers. In order to access the Webinars, participants have to click on a link that is embedded in the e-mail with the associated Webinar being promoted. This link will forward you to a Website from GetResponse (GetResponse Sp. z o.o., Ul. Arkońska 6/a3, 80-387 Gdańsk, Poland), which is our third-party provider for the management and implementation of webinars. After submitting your first and second name, and your e-mail address in the form of the GetResponse Website, this information will be stored on GetResponse’ server in Poland and made accessible for us, to see, who registered for a Webinar at what date. Once you participate in the Webinar via GetResponse’ software, GetResponse will track at which point in time you entered the webinar session, when you left the session, the duration of your session, the browser from which you entered the session, and your geolocation via your IP-address. We have set up a Data Processing Agreement with GetResponse in which GetResponse is obliged to protect your data, process the data according to their data protection policies for us and not sell your data to any other third-parties. We do make our Webinars available for users who are not able to participate in the webinar directly and at time, by uploading them on a private Youtube channel (YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA), which our customers can access from our Website. Once you watch one of our videos on our Website, a connection to Youtube’s server will be established. Youtube will receive information of the address from which you accessed the video. If you are a registered Youtube user, Youtube will track your browsing behaviour (on Youtube) and associate it with your Youtube profile. Log Data

We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Website (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, the location of the device from which you accessed our Website, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Website that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages.

We use the third party service Google Analytics from Google (Google LLC,1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) that collects, monitors and analyses non-personally identifiable data and information in order to increase our Website’s functionality. This data will be collected automatically once you access our Website. If gathered, this data is used in the aggregate, and not in a manner that is intended to identify you personally. We gather this information to track website visitor movement in the aggregate, and to gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. We have set up a Data Processing Agreement with Google in which Google is obliged to protect the data provided, process the data according to their data protection policies for us and not sell your data to any other third-parties. Cookies

When you access our Website, a cookie can be installed automatically and stored temporarily in memory or on its hard drive. Cookies do not contain data identifying you and are only intended to record information about your navigation on our Website, such as pages visited, the date and time of the consultation, to facilitate navigation on our Website during subsequent visits. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some parts of our Website.

 

Sharing of Information

We will not send your Personal Information to a third party unless one of the following circumstances apply:

Our domain host: For the purposes of the access to, and use of the Website, your Personal Information will be stored on a server hosted by an Austrian-based service provider: Easyname (easyname GmbH, Fernkorngasse 10/3/501, 1100 Vienna, Austria, Tel.: +43 1 353 2222). We have set up a Data Processing Agreement with Easyname in which Easyname is obliged to protect your data, process the data according to their data protection policies for us and not sell your data to any other third-parties. Website providers: We may employ third party companies and individuals to manage and develop our Website, to provide services on our behalf, or to assist us in analysing how our Website is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

For external processing: We provide Personal Information to our affiliates or other trusted businesses as described above (see „Collection of Information“) to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

For legal reasons: We will share your Personal Information in case we are required by a judicial authority or any other administrative authority to transfer your Personal Information to such authority.

 

Right to access, correct, delete and object Personal Information

Retention of data

Personal Information are retained by us for the period of time required for the purposes described below (see „Use of Information“). The period of retention shall not exceed three (3) years as from the date of the last operation you requested and requiring the processing of Personal Information.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
