SUMMARY:The Logframe Approach (LFA) - The Steps to Designing a Logframe Matrix
DESCRIPTION:This training asks the question: how do I plan a development project and what does it take to arrive at a good project design? Therefore\, it introduces the different steps of the Logframe Approach (LFA)\, the most common planning approach for development projects. We interactively work out a stakeholder and problem analysis and define our project strategy. The course participants will also learn a wide range of community based assessment methods\, tools and approaches. \nDuring this two-day workshop we will therefore explore the path it takes to build a coherent and ‘real world’ Logframe matrix that can be effectively used as a planning and monitoring document throughout the project cycle. \n  \nWhen: 18. & 19. June 2019\, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm\nWhere:Seminarzentrum Pallottihaus\, Auhofstraße 10\, 1130 Vienna\, Austria\nCosts:€330.-(incl. VAT\, lunch and individual coaching on Logframe/proposal writing)/€288.-for TripleFunds (www.triple-funds.com) members and students (20% discount) \nTraining facilitator:Lisa Ringhofer (TripleMinds) \nYou can register for the workshop either online (by filling out the form below) or via email to lisa.ringhofer@triple-minds.com. \n  \nContent: \n\nThe big picture: PCM and the Logframe Approach (LFA)\nThe analysis stage: assessing needs\, stakeholder analysis\, problem and objective analysis\nThe planning stage: the Logframe matrix: the different columns\nReflections on the Logframe and the Theory of Change (ToC): commonalities and differences\n\n  \nThe training will therefore help you to:\n \nUnderstand the Logframe and its role in project/programme planning and monitoring\nIncrease your analytical planning skills\nDevelopyour own Logframe\nVisualiseyour Logframe and quality check\nAvoidcommon pitfalls \n  \nIf you have a project in mind\, the course will offer the opportunity to design your Logframe matrix and gain feedback. \n  \nWith a group size of no more than 10\, the workshop will be interactive and hands-on. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The workshop will be held in English. The workshop will only take place with a minimum of 5 participants. \n  \nAbout the instructor: \nThis training will be delivered by Lisa Ringhofer. \nLisa Ringhofer is the Co-Founder of TripleMinds and has over 17 years of extensive participatory field experience in development cooperation and research.
