The aim of this training is to familiarise participants with the practical tools and approaches needed to develop a good grant proposal or concept note. In an interactive setting, the training participants will learn the “do’s” and “don’ts” of good writing, identify the key practices for developing successful proposals, identify and document the situation your project wants to change, and understand the grant proposal review process (e.g. EU funding mechanisms or other large donors).

The course is intended for staff members of international development and aid organisations, especially programme developers and coordinators.
About the instructor:
This course will be delivered by Lisa Ringhofer. Lisa is the Co-Founder of TripleMinds and has over 15 years of experience in development cooperation and research. She holds an M.A. in Development Studies, an MBA and a PhD in Sociology/Social Ecology. Lisa has developed, implemented and evaluated development programmes and projects in several countries with a focus on Southern Africa and Latin America. She conducts her assignments in English, German, Spanish and Portuguese.
